Evelyn Halls started fencing at 10 years old and eventually competed in the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Today, Ms. Halls is a partner at law firm Herbert Smith Freehills in Melbourne, Australia. Despite the demands of the position, Ms. Halls maintains fencing training and is the second-ranked woman in Australia in her weapon of choice, the epee.
